PLLA (Sculptra) Mastery: Biostimulatory Techniques in Facial Aesthetics*
8:30 AM - 12:30 PM | Workshop
Faculty: Barbara Brandt, APRN, National Injectables Trainer & Melissa Danin, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
* Must have previous training and experience with dermal fillers
Poly-L-Lactic (PLLA) is in high-demand and once again a “must have” treatment in every provider’s aesthetic tool box. Ideal for whole face volume loss, PLLA such as Sculptra has a liquid consistency and, differing from gel-like dermal fillers, works deep within the skin to stimulate the body’s natural production of collagen. Collagen is a fibrous protein in the deep dermis that gives skin structure and supports the functions of elastin and Hyaluronic acid (HA), which helps maintain the skin’s shape while keeping it smooth and hydrated. Expand your injectable skills and learn how this unique product can take your aesthetic results and practice to the next level.

You’ll work directly with regenerative tools that leverage the body’s natural healing mechanisms to restore volume, improve skin tone and texture, and enhance overall facial harmony. Designed for all skill levels, this workshop includes:
- PRP/PRF applications using injections and/or microneedling to treat signs of aging, scarring, and hair thinning.
- PDGF+ or Exosome delivery via microneedling to stimulate collagen production and cellular regeneration.
- Biofiller (PRF gel) injections using cannula techniques—recommended for providers with prior cannula experience—to address midface and tear trough volume loss with a natural, autologous approach.
- A dedicated RFMN station demonstrating how to combine radiofrequency microneedling with regenerative serums for enhanced skin tightening and rejuvenation.
Advanced TMD Therapy with PRF
In addition to aesthetic applications, this workshop also highlights the therapeutic power of regenerative medicine with a specialized station focused on PRF for temporomandibular disorders (TMD). You’ll learn how to perform targeted PRF injections to reduce TMJ-related pain, inflammation, and dysfunction—offering patients a natural, minimally invasive alternative to traditional therapies. This protocol is ideal for providers looking to expand into functional injectables that support both comfort and mobility in the jaw and facial musculature.
Microcannulas for Dermal Filler Injections*
8:30 AM - 12:30 PM | Workshop
Faculty: Jill Campbell, MSN, FNP-C, CANS & Dr. Kamica O’ Gilvie, DNP, National Injectables Trainer
Microcannulas are considered a superior method to effectively deliver dermal fillers to your patients. Safer than needles, blunt-tipped cannulas only use a single entry point and glide smoothly under the skin without cutting nerves and vessels. Resulting in greater patient satisfaction, microcannulas deliver dermal fillers with virtually no bruising, diminished swelling, considerably reduced pain, and less risks of more serious complications (necrosis / blindness / vascular issues). In addition, the blunt-tip cannulas may also stimulate collagen production because of the nature of the technique used. This advanced, hands-on workshop will teach you how to properly evaluate patients, diagnose and treatment plan for microcannula enhancements.

Hands-On Experience:
This 4-hour workshop includes step-by-step instruction and practice on gingival and bone models (2 participants per station), allowing dentists to simulate the full protocol for aesthetic crown lengthening procedures designed to manage excessive gingival display, called a gingival smile.
Participants will:
• Accurately diagnose and classify different types of gingival smiles
• Perform a sulcular then marginal internal beveled incision at the proposed smile line using Blade 15C
• Raise a limited, full-thickness mucoperiosteal flap with a periosteal elevator
• Remove in one piece the cut gingival margin
• Gain direct access to the buccal bone and subgingival structures
• Use tungsten and diamond burs for controlled osteoplasty/ostectomy
• Finalize the ostectomy to reestablish proper biological width and bone contour
• Reposition and suture the flap (continuous or interrupted techniques)
• Confirm a 3 mm flap margin–to–cervical bone distance to support new sulcus/biological width formation and long-term periodontal stability/esthetic results
This workshop is ideal for general dentists, periodontists, and aesthetic clinicians looking to elevate their smile design capabilities with evidence-based soft tissue and bone management techniques. Enhance your ability to deliver comprehensive, high-level aesthetic results where the smile seamlessly integrates into the full facial landscape.
