The IAFA advisory board is composed of a select group of experienced healthcare professionals who are certified in the use of facial injectable products, and are dedicated to enhancing and growing the exciting world of aesthetics. Together, the IAFA board, consultants, and its members make up an academy of educators, clinicians, and industry innovators who are determined to expand public awareness. Through their unique specialist skills, experience, and education, they play a strong part in the development of the latest innovations in the aesthetic industry.
Board members are affiliated with the top leaders and companies in the facial aesthetics industry and have access to the advanced techniques, cutting-edge products, and all the tips, resources, and tools to become and remain a successful facial aesthetics provider. As experienced injectors themselves, they are on the forefront of clinical case studies and frequently consulted for their expert opinions for patient treatment plans.

Dr. Kian Karimi, MD, FACS
Dr. Kian Karimi is a highly skilled cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgeon, and is double board certified in facial plastic surgery and in head and neck surgery. His goal is to enhance that inherent beauty in a most harmonious way, whether it be through surgical or non-surgical means. Ultimately, Dr. Karimi believes that the outcome of any consultation, surgical, or non-surgical procedure should be to enhance his patients’ physical and emotional quality of life. He spends adequate time advising his patients of their options in order to create an individualized plan. Dr. Kian has been the national medical director for CosmoFrance since 2012 and has personally trained over 1,000 doctors in the latest techniques in facial aesthetics.He is actively involved in research in facial plastic surgery and has particular interest in rhinoplasty, minimally invasive facial rejuvenation, and ethics. Since Dr. Karimi decided to make Los Angeles his home, he has not only become a familiar face teaching and speaking at a broad variety of aesthetic medical meetings around the world. Dr. Karimi has also appeared on award winning TV shows such as EXTRA and the CBS TV show ‘The Doctors’, among many other media outlets. Dr. Karimi has quickly become a media favorite and has become part of the exclusive and secretive world of Hollywood.

Dr. Joel Terry Alford, Clinical Instructor and National Speaker
Dr. Alford brings more than 20 years of non-surgical aesthetics experience to the IAFA. Over his last 21 years in the aesthetics industry, he has worked with leading companies such as Viora and Fotana to help develop various facial rejuvenation protocols and techniques. A believer in combination therapy, he offers his patients an array of services including microneedling, PRP, and Meso gun technologies with HA, PRP and nutritional supplements. A true expert in facial anatomy, Dr. Alford has led cadaver workshops for facial injectables for several years for the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics and LA-MCA. He developed a comprehensive 60-page anatomy manual to teach complex facial anatomy related to injectables, Botulinum Toxins, PDO threads and Energy Based devices ND:YAG and ER:YAG. A highly sought out speaker and trainer, Dr.Alford has taught among the most respected leaders of the aesthetic industry and for the most prestigious academies nationwide.
Dr. Alford is devoted and passionate about teaching. He is currently a visiting clinical instructor at the University of Alabama and LECOM School of Dentistry in Bradenton, Florida in Laser Technology. Additionally he teaches uses of lasers, facial anatomy, facial rejuvenation and PRP procedures for the International Association of Facial Aesthetics. Dr. Alford also teaches cosmetic reconstruction utilizing the most current technology in Zirconia and E-max based crowns and bridges, and CAD SIM /CAD CAM prosthesis, Veneers and Implant supported crowns to visiting dentists on a one on one basis.
Dr. Alford graduated with degrees in Math, Physics and Aerodynamics. While living in Southern California He enrolled in Cal Tech and obtained additional degrees in Chemistry and Biology. In 1974, he attended the University of Alabama School of Dentistry Graduating with Honors. Completed a Mini Residency in Anesthesia at the University of Alabama Medical School, Department of Anesthesia. He has received Masters certification in Dental laser therapy and teaches Dental application of Lasers at LECOM Dental School in Bradenton Florida. In January 2016 received Mastery Level Two in DTR Therapy and Treatment of Oro-Facial and TMD pain from Dr. Robert Kerstein and the Center for Neural Occlusion.
Dr. Alford is a member of the American Dental Society, Manatee County Dental Society, West Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Computer Dentistry, International Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. the World Clinical Laser Institute, International Academy of Facial Esthetics, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology, The American Academy of Facial Esthetics and The Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Dental Society. From January 2011 to January 2016 Dr. Alford has been awarded the honor of “America’s Top Dentist” for 6 years running in the field of Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry by the Consumers Research Council of America.
Corinn Singletary, PA-C, International Injectable Trainer
Corinn Singletary, PA-C, is an internationally certified Injectable trainer who has successfully trained hundreds of practitioners on mainstream and advanced techniques for Botox® and dermal fillers. She works at an internationally recognized facial plastic surgery office where her focus is liquid facelifts and advanced facial contouring. As one of DentaSpa and CosMedic’s leading trainers, she has helped many dental and medical practitioners seamlessly integrate Botox and dermal fillers into their practices.
She has been in the aesthetic industry for 10 years, starting with lasers and shortly after mastering the art of injectables. For the last few years, Corinn has also served as a national injectable trainer for Medicis, one of the leading medical aesthetic companies in the world. She is an educator and trainer to practitioners in various specialties, educating in both beginning and advanced Botox and Dermal Filler techniques.
She received her medical degrees from Barry University in Miami. She is an expert injector and is known for her attention to detail and meticulous nature. Her aesthetics artistry comes from both experience and an innate sense of observation and symmetry. She has a gift for determining the best treatments needed to help clientele achieve their desired outcome. Patients praise her for her gentle touch, which is an extension of her compassion and empathy.
She entered the cosmetic industry in 2005 working with lasers, and made the natural transition to full-time facial aesthetics and injectables in 2008. Corinn understands that Botox and filler treatments are a combination of skill, art and science. She is an expert injector and a national trainer of Botulinum toxin A and Dermal fillers for physicians, physician extenders and dental practitioners. Corinn also operates a med spa in Tampa, Florida. She is known as a perfectionist for her attention to detail and meticulous nature.
Dr. Suneel Chilukuri, MD
Dr. Suneel Chilukuri is an internationally recognized cosmetic dermatologic surgeon. He is known for creating innovative techniques to fully restore and enhance the face and body without surgery. Dr. Chilukuri fellowship-trained in advanced dermatologic surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, and laser surgery at Yale College of Medicine. He studied dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine where he was recognized as the Resident Teacher of the Year and chosen to be Chief Resident. Prior to Baylor, he trained in general and plastic surgery at University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Chilukuri has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks in addition to publishing two books. As a sought after speaker at both international and national conferences regarding cosmetic surgery, he has taught at more than 200 aesthetic seminars. He has served as a volunteer clinical professor for cosmetic, surgical, and reconstructive surgery at renowned academic institutions including Yale University School of Medicine, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Baylor College of Medicine, and Albert Einstein Medical College. In addition to running a private practice in Houston, Dr. Chilukuri has taught over 10,000 plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, and dermatologists advanced techniques in aesthetic surgery. He is a Key Opinion Leader for BENEV, Company Inc and a National trainer for companies including Allergan Cosmetics and others.
Dr. Stacy Chimento, MD
Dr. Young Cho, MD
Dr. Young Cho is a Board Certified plastic surgeon, as well as the Director of Integrated Aesthetics, located in Spring, TX. Dr. Cho is dedicated to providing patients with the latest in surgical and non-surgical options to help them along their aesthetic journey. He also keenly focuses on helping patients with lifestyle procedures that treat sexual wellness and urinary incontinence.
Dr. Cho’s passion for learning and teaching affords him many opportunities to educate the professional aesthetic and wellness community throughout the United States. He is a national trainer for Allergan (the manufacturers of Botox, Kybella and Juvederm family of injectable fillers), as well as Galderma (manufacturers of Dysport, Sculptra and the Restylane family of injectable fillers). Dr. Cho teaches suture suspension techniques using InstaLift by Thermi, and advance off-label injection techniques for face and body. He is also an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Cho founded Integrated Aesthetics Academy to help address the growing need for education available to aesthetics and wellness providers. He personally teaches all of the vampire procedures, including the O-Shot, Vampire Facial, Vampire Facelift, Vampire Breast Lift and the Priapus Shot. He offers individual coaching, small group teaching and larger group seminars to help those advance their own journey as aesthetic and lifestyle providers.
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada; a PhD from Cambridge University in Cambridge, England; an MD from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Ct.; and completed his plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Committed to offering the most advanced innovations in anti-aging, Dr. Tsay is widely recognized for delivering unparalleled results with the distinctive skill of a former E.R. physician. He is featured among California’s top medical professionals and a sought-after international speaker/trainer for many of the latest dermal laser technology methods, as known as trailblazer for elevating the field PDO Thread Lifting in the United States.
Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Tsay received a full academic Dean’s Scholarship from Emory University. There, he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Quantum Chemistry within four years, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia on a full academic scholarship, completing his residency training in Compton, South Central Los Angeles. For 20 years, Dr. Tsay spent his time saving and changing lives las an Emergency Medicine physician which he is currently board certified in, while choosing to practice aesthetics and anti-aging medicine full time.
Dr. Gal Aharonov, MD
Dr. Gal Aharonov is a Facial Plastic Surgeon who is Double Board Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as by the American Board of Head and Neck Surgery and Otolaryngology.
Los Angeles is Dr. Gal Aharonov’s home town. He attended UCLA before going to The Chicago Medical School. From there he returned to Los Angeles to train in general surgery at UCLA, and then moving to Richmond, Virginia to continue his training in Head and Neck Surgery, as well as in Facial Plastic Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia. He then performed a highly competitive accredited fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, one of only about 30 such fellowship positions in the world.
Once he started his practice, he realized the need for change and advances in the field of cosmetic plastic surgery. He pioneered multiple procedures intended to provide results that were by far superior to anything else available at the time. He continues to create novel procedures and techniques intended to provide natural, aesthetically superior results. He believes results should always look natural and balanced, and strives for such changes in all his patients. Privately, he lives a modest, simple life. He believes in dissociation from materialism, feeling that happiness should not be driven by material wealth, but by gratitude and humility. He believes that success should be measured by the amount of positivity and good one does, not by accumulated assets. This is what drives him personally and with his profession.
Dr. Lawrence Rifkin, DMD
Highlighting Dr. Rifkin’s role as a luminary in the field of aesthetic medicine is the fact that he is among the few dentists who—being recognized as an aesthetic leader even beyond the field of dentistry—can claim the honor of being selected for membership to the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Combining cosmetic surgery principles with dentistry is a rare passion. Doing it exceedingly well for the better part of 40 years is a legacy. As a renowned international lecturer, Dr. Rifkin addresses dental and cosmetic surgery academies all over the world.
Shanna Concepcion, RN, CANS, National Injectables Trainer
Shanna Concepcion, RN, CANS, received her nursing degree in Indiana and has been a Registered Nurse for over 21 years. She has experience in women’s health prior to transitioning to aesthetic nursing. She has been an aesthetic nurse for over 11 years and has extensive training and experience in performing state of the art laser treatments for face and body, Botox and dermal filler injections, body contouring, skin tightening, photo facials, and has a vast knowledge of medical grade products.
She is also trained in providing informative consultations to clients seeking customized treatments. She is dedicated to helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals with safety in mind. She has been an AMI trainer for Allergan for over 8 years and has trained some of the top Dermatologists, Plastics Surgeons, and Health Care providers all over the United States and Canada. She is one of the first nurses to train on PDO sutures for soft tissue re-approximation, and PRF in the United States and Canada.
Barbara Brandt, APRN, B-C, Internationally Certified Injectables Trainer
Barbara Brandt is an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and a well-known Aesthetic Procedures Injector and Trainer. A graduate of Master of Science in Nursing from Barry University in May 2013, she obtained her masters degree while working as a certified trauma and burn intensive care unit nurse at the world-renowned Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center. Beginning her medical career as a Registered Dental Hygienist, it was there that she attained extensive experience in facial anatomy and soft tissue management. However, with her strong passion for aesthetics and art, Barbara made the decision to change her profession with the ultimate goal of pursuing a career as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner.
Her extensive medical, fitness and artistic backgrounds have helped her develop a keen eye to enhance natural beauty and correct trends of the aging process. With vast training and mentorship from some of the best experts both Internationally and in the U.S. such as Zack Ally MD., Dr. Silik, Shino Bay MD, and Mariano Busso MD. Barbara holds advanced certifications in neuromodulators (Botox), (Dysport), (Xeomin) fillers, (Juvederm), (Restylane), (Radiesse), (Belotero) Collagen Stimulators (Sculptra), (Ultherapy), (PRP, PRF) applications, (Silhouette Instalift), (PDO threads), laser devices and Sclerotherapy.
Barbara currently serves as the Renovatio PDO National Trainer, DentaSpa Seminars PDO threads and injectables trainer, and Rohrer Aesthetics National Trainer. She is also faculty for the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics. She has previously worked as an independent trainer for leading companies such as Suneva and Merz Aesthetics where she was a former medical affair consultant, clinical educator, and trainer. Barbara is a member of The Nurse Practitioner Council of Miami-Dade and The International Academy of Facial Aesthetics. She is well known for patient advocacy and transparency in treatment planning and delivery and believes in the power of aesthetic treatments aimed at the quality of results that she is able to deliver, ensuring her patients feel beautiful, youthful and confident.
Throughout Megan’s time with Allergan, she has managed high-performing teams in injectables, topicals, and devices. She has also won several awards, Among them ‘Global Trainer of the Year.’ She also received several leadership training certifications, which led to Megan’s extensive work with Key opinion leaders and VPs, CEOs, and upper management within the medical aesthetic space. Her expertise and passion have allowed her to be the secret weapon behind some of the country’s most profitable practices.
She has become a lead consultant in the aesthetic community and a motivational speaker. Megan provides hands-on training for overall practice management and growth, patient and staff retention, and leadership skills.
Dr. Anil Rajani, MD, PC
Dr. Anil Rajani, MD, is a sought after international lecturer and trainer who specializes in minimally-invasive aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Rajani has participated with the leading cosmetic centers in the United States and abroad and has over 15 years of experience in the aesthetic field.
Dr. Anil Rajani Specializing in the training of healthcare professionals from around the globe in the use of combination procedures and injectable treatments with an eye towards a natural look. His patients have been able to defer or even avoid surgical procedures altogether after receiving treatment with his Liquid Facelift procedure, combining fillers, collagen stimulators, PRF, PDO Threads and now PlasmaSculpt.
Dr. Rajani, founder of RajaniMD and PlasmaSculpt, is recognized among his colleagues as being an expert in minimally-invasive cosmetic treatments. He is an early adopter of the MicroCannula injection technique and has performed thousands of liquid facelift procedures using combination therapy.

Dr. Arun K. Garg, International Speaker
Dr. Arun K. Garg is a nationally recognized educator and surgeon who for over 20 years, served as a full-time Professor of Surgery in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and as Director of Residency Training at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. An acclaimed clinician, known as the “Expert to the Experts.”, Dr. Garg hosts more than 200 seminars annually, attended by more than 10,000 Multi-Specialty Doctors per year. He is the preeminent authority on bone biology and the co-discoverer of PRP, currently used widely in aesthetics for facial rejuvenation.
Dr. Mike Golsen, National Injectable Trainer
Mike Golsen, DMD, is national trainer for DentaSpa Seminars, teaching alumni nationwide how to successfully implement cosmetic and therapeutic uses of BOTOX® and dermal filler dental treatments. Seeing the tremendous growth of facial injectable treatments in dentistry, he went on to earn more than 100 CE credits on the subject and in 2012, officially implemented these treatments into his practice.
Dr. Golsen has been practicing dentistry for 30 years and was the founder and co-owner of Golsen Family Dentistry, a family and cosmetic dental practice in Alpharetta ,GA. Dr. Golsen’s involvement with organized and continuing education is extensive and he believes that “learning is continuous.”
Golsen Family Dentistry was a benchmark practice built on quality patient care and customer service. The practice focus was on functional aesthetics and conservative care. During his tenure at Golsen Family Dentistry, he performed all of the New Patient exams and treatment planning for the practice. Dr Golsen implemented Invisalign as part of his patient care and shortly became one of the most experienced providers in the state of Georgia, earning Premiere Preferred Provider status in 2013. To date, he has earned over 230 hours in Invisalign and orthodontic continuing education.
Dr. Golsen is a 2nd generation Dentist who received his BA from Emory University and DMD from the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry. He later went on to earn an MBA from Kennesaw State University.
Dr. Golsen believes that value added services such as BOTOX® and dermal fillers are a game changer for the modern dental practice and that dentist are positioned best to provide such services.
Dr. Ricardo M. Perez, International Speaker
Ricardo M Perez, DDS, founder of Cosmetic Dental Spa, is a recognized international speaker who trains dental practitioners worldwide on dental spa implementation and therapeutic uses of BOTOX® and dermal filler dental treatments. With the growth of injectables in dentistry, he has seen a rise in demand in his dental practice for therapeutic treatments such as TMD, facial pain and angular cheilitis, among others. As co-founder of the first network of dental spa, he has been an innovator in the field of dental and spa services since 2000. He opened his first practice in 1994 and founded that practice as the Cosmetic Dental Spa in 2000.
At DentaSpa, Dr. Perez is nationally certified Botox and Fillers trainer that strives to not only teach how to do procedures, but also how to successfully implement them. Over the past few years, he has successfully provided patients with beneficial restorative and therapeutic Botox treatments that optimize his aesthetic dental cases. He is one of less than 5% of dentists who have completed hands on training in cosmetics and occlusion. These courses include Functional Anterior Esthetics, Ultimate Occlusion, Occlussion II, and Full Mouth Synergy. Dr. Perez also lectures for Novalar on the uses of Oraverse.
Dr. Perez is a sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, DOCS, International Congress of Osseo Integration, and a founding member of the Medical Spa Association. He is also a board member for the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics. Dr. Perez is a graduate of UCLA and the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.
Amy Faircloth, RN, BSN, National Injectables Trainer
Amy Faircloth has been a nurse for over 26 years. Starting her career with Medsurg, ENT, Pediatrics, and OR for over 18 years. Started working out of then husband’s oral surgery office, initiated Botox for therapeutic treatments for his oral surgery patients. Eventually saw the need for the aesthetic side and started her own business and became founder of two clinics ;
Aesthetic Essentials of Augusta and Atlanta. She developed a Beauty and Wellness boutique clinic. That then led to collaborating with local physicians in her city and “The Essentials Center was born ; a multi specialty clinic that addresses any concerns a woman has from head to toe with a plastic surgeon, Uro-Gyn, IV clinic and weight loss. Now a woman can come and be treated for every concern under one roof and simplify her treatments.
Amy has been an ALLERGAN trainer and consultant for over 7 years, one of 12 nationally recognized Juvederm Lip Experts, Real Self’s most loved Injector, Top 100 injectors in the Country, her office was voted Top 3 places to have aesthetic procedures, serves on multiple advisory boards, Trains for AIAM, and serves as faculty for Dentaspa/IAFA, and other training companies.
When she isn’t traveling for work, she enjoys time with her 2 boys, Austin 23 and Will 21; as well as her therapy dog Luna. Yoga, being outside by any body of water, music or rescuing animals is her favorite past time!
Creating beauty and educating at the same time is her passion!
Debbie Tay, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, RNFA
Debbie Tay RN, MSN, FNP-BC, RNFA is an aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and Master Injector since 2010. She is an Allergan AMI peer to peer trainer & Galderma GAIN trainer who has trained countless practitioners on the art and science of facial injectables. She currently works at OU Beauty Medspa, one of Galderma’s and Allergan’s top accounts, as their master aesthetic lead injector. Through her years of practice and teaching she has become very well versed on both the Galderma and Allergan portfolios and their diverse properties to achieve optimal correction. Debbie is a passionate trainer/mentor and enjoys sharing her invaluable expertise with fellow aesthetic injectors. She believes in the artistry that provides a natural result, helping her patients embrace the idea of aging gracefully in every decade. Prior to her career in aesthetics, she worked as a neuroscience nurse at Cedars Sinai Hospital and as a nurse practitioner at an orthopedic spine practice assisting in surgery for six years. Continuing her path in neuro, she became a Stroke Coordinator at Huntington Memorial Hospital and led the hospital to achieving the Primary Stroke Center from The Joint Commission.
Jill Campbell, MSN, FNP-C, CANS
Jill Campbell is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and national trainer, including Galderma and Allergan. She received her Master’s degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and was awarded as “The Outstanding Nurse Practitioner.” She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. In addition, Jill is board certified as an aesthetic nurse specialist with more than 20 years of experience. Jill is a trainer/educator for Allergan Medical Institute and co-creator of FAB – Foundational Aesthetics and Beyond. She understands the importance of sharing information and staying current in a rapidly changing field. Jill is the co-founder of Foundational Aesthetics & Beyond (FAB) and is licensed in Florida, Texas and Arizona.
Jill is passionate about her work. She is known for her attention to detail, fun bedside manner, artistic eye, and practical teaching methods.
Jill prioritizes patient communication as she explains the natural aging process and how addressing the entire face keeps one looking natural, balanced and refreshed. She loves to share her passion and knowledge with patients and other providers and is often told “no one has ever explained this to me before.”
Jill’s comprehensive approach to treatment includes all of the currently FDA approved injectables on the US market. She is also an expert with cannula technique and uses various lasers, radio-frequency treatments, PRP, PRF, EZ Gel, PDO threads, peels and microneedling/micro-
Shawn Cabbell, DDS
Dr. Shawn Cabbell, national injectables trainer, brings DentaSpa Seminars a fresh perspective to the arena of cosmetic and facial esthetics. He has owned and operated five dental practices, one of which is a full service dental spa. He currently practices full time between offices in Indianapolis, IN and the US Virgin Islands. Dr. Cabbell brings valuable first hand knowledge and experience which helps new injectors gain confidence, strengthen technique, treatment plan and incorporate facial esthetic treatment into their existing practice.
Dr. Cabbell graduated with honors from Howard University with an undergraduate business degree in Marketing. He completed his professional degree at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Following dental school he continued training through an Advanced Education for General Dentistry program at the VCU Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Marcel Wainwright is an international speaker and educator who specializes in Full Face Rehabs using Botox, dermal fillers and dentistry. Mike Golsen, DMD, is national trainer for DentaSpa Seminars, teaching alumni nationwide how to successfully implement cosmetic and therapeutic uses of BOTOX® and dermal filler dental treatments. Seeing the tremendous growth of facial injectable treatments in dentistry, he went on to earn more than 100 CE credits on the subject and in 2012, officially implemented these treatments into his practice.
Dr. Golsen has been practicing dentistry for 30 years and was the founder and co-owner of Golsen Family Dentistry, a family and cosmetic dental practice in Alpharetta ,GA. Dr. Golsen’s involvement with organized and continuing education is extensive and he believes that “learning is continuous.”
