An advanced, immersive anatomy experience where participants move beyond observation to inject, visualize, and dissect. Working in small groups with individualized faculty guidance, participants perform toxin and filler injections on human body donors, use high-resolution ultrasound to correlate anatomy and injection planes, and then dissect to immediately validate placement and technique.
Through IAFA’s progressive Inject → Dissect methodology, participants can see exactly where their injections were placed while exploring facial anatomy, injection biomechanics, product migration, layered techniques, and complication avoidance. This unique combination of hands-on injection, ultrasound, and immediate anatomical validation is designed to build greater precision, confidence, and safety in full-face injectable treatment.

Participants can add the 5-hour Pre-Symposium Anatomy Workshop on Thursday, November 5, featuring Professor Cotofana’s instructor-led cadaver dissections alongside live patient injection demonstrations and real-time ultrasound mapping. The program connects each anatomical layer directly to clinical injection strategy, facial aging, treatment planning, and complication avoidance—providing an additional five hours of anatomy-to-clinical correlation before Friday’s hands-on training.

Delivering truly transformative results requires more than treating isolated areas—it demands a deep understanding of facial balance, structure, and individualized design.
This advanced workshop focuses on full facial sculpting through combination therapy, teaching providers how to harmonize facial features using strategic filler placement, PDO threads, and complementary technology. All participants will have the opportunity to observe and learn from each of the workshop’s clinical and technology stations. For their dedicated hands-on treatment experience, participants will be assigned to dermal filler treatment unless they elect in advance to focus their clinical training on PDO threads instead.
The workshop also expands the full-face approach beyond injectables by incorporating EMFACE® technology, exploring how facial muscle stimulation and energy-based treatment can complement structural and volumizing techniques within a comprehensive full-face treatment plan.
Participants will develop a systematic approach to:
- Assessing facial proportions and structural deficiencies
- Creating balance across the midface, jawline, chin, and tear troughs
- Integrating volume, contour, and lift for cohesive, natural outcomes
- Designing treatment plans that prioritize facial harmony over overcorrection
- Integrating muscle-focused and energy-based technology into comprehensive full-face treatment planning
The workshop features rotating clinical stations, including:
- Full-face patient assessment and treatment-planning discussions
- Hands-on facial sculpting with dermal fillers, including the midface, jawline, chin, and tear trough
- Advanced contouring and structural support techniques
- A dedicated PDO thread clinical station focused on lifting, support, and biostimulation, available as an alternative hands-on track for participants who select PDO threads in place of fillers
- An EMFACE® technology station led by Yael Halaas, MD, FACS, featuring live demonstration and discussion of facial muscle stimulation, contouring, lifting, and its integration into comprehensive facial rejuvenation

This hands-on workshop is dedicated entirely to the various uses of Neurotoxins, focusing not only on popular facial areas but also delving into the lower ⅔ of the face and emerging uses. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned injector, this workshop can be customized clinically to enhance your current experience with neuromodulators, such as Dysport, Botox, Xeomin and Jeauveu. Inexperienced practitioners will gain clinical experience with highly sought-out upper face areas while experienced injectable practitioners will be able to further enrich their existing knowledge with novel uses and techniques.

This advanced workshop is designed for providers seeking to master comprehensive lip and perioral rejuvenation through combination therapy, integrating dermal fillers and neurotoxins for refined, natural-looking results.
Moving beyond traditional lip augmentation, this course focuses on full perioral design, teaching participants how to assess and treat the lips in harmony with surrounding structures to restore balance, support, and youthful expression.
Participants will learn how to:
- Analyze lip shape, proportion, and perioral dynamics
- Customize treatment plans using filler and neurotoxin synergy
- Address volume loss, muscle activity, and fine lines simultaneously
- Enhance lip definition while maintaining natural movement and expression

As patient demand for natural, minimally invasive results continues to grow, regenerative aesthetics has become a cornerstone of modern aesthetic practice. This hands-on clinical workshop explores the expanding role of biologic therapies in aesthetic treatments, equipping providers with practical, in-demand techniques that can be integrated into everyday practice.
This immersive training will feature a range of regenerative approaches, allowing participants to gain experience with key modalities and delivery methods used to improve skin quality, restore volume, and enhance overall facial rejuvenation. The workshop will also explore the integration of RF microneedling with regenerative therapies, demonstrating how energy-based collagen remodeling and regenerative applications can be combined within comprehensive skin-quality protocols.
Designed for all skill levels, this workshop includes:

This 4-hour, small-group workshop combines didactic instruction with live patient diagnosis, clinical demonstrations, and anatomy-based education to help clinicians confidently assess and manage TMD and orofacial pain.
A key component of the program will be the clinical application of photobiomodulation (PBM) using Erchonia® low-level laser technology, allowing participants to explore practical treatment protocols, patient considerations, and its role within a comprehensive approach to TMD and orofacial pain management.
In an intimate, highly interactive format, attendees will begin with a faculty-led didactic session before transitioning into pairs and small groups for clinical demonstrations and hands-on learning, allowing participants to see the various treatment modalities in action and explore their practical application in TMD and orofacial pain management.
Clinical education and treatment modalities will include:
Photobiomodulation (PBM) using Erchonia® low-level laser technology, with practical demonstration of treatment protocols and clinical applications for TMD and orofacial pain
Neuromodulators (Botox®) for TMJ/bruxism treatment patterns
Trigger point injections and related therapeutic approaches

Microcannulas for Dermal Filler Injections*

Microcannulas are considered a superior method to effectively deliver dermal fillers to your patients. Safer than needles, blunt-tipped cannulas only use a single entry point and glide smoothly under the skin without cutting nerves and vessels. Resulting in greater patient satisfaction, microcannulas deliver dermal fillers with virtually no bruising, diminished swelling, considerably reduced pain, and less risks of more serious complications (necrosis / blindness / vascular issues). In addition, the blunt-tip cannulas may also stimulate collagen production because of the nature of the technique used. This advanced, hands-on workshop will teach you how to properly evaluate patients, diagnose and treatment plan for microcannula enhancements.

Rescheduling / Cancellation of the IAFA 2026 Symposium must be made in writing to info@iafa.co no later than September 30, 2026. A $399 cancellation fee will be processed. Attendees can reschedule to the 2027 Symposium (Nov ’27) until September 30, 2026. Attendees can reschedule the Symposium one time. Starting October 1, 2026, no refunds or future credit will be available. Participation will be moved to “virtual” attendance. Cancellation by phone will not be accepted. The Cadaver Dissection workshop scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026, is a non-refundable registration fee.
