Day 1 Workshops
Combination Therapy: Full Facial Balance & Sculpting
(Fillers + Optional PDO Threads Track)
1:30 PM - 5:30 PM | Workshop
Faculty: TBA
Delivering truly transformative results requires more than treating isolated areas—it demands a deep understanding of facial balance, structure, and individualized design.
This advanced workshop focuses on full facial sculpting through combination therapy, teaching providers how to harmonize facial features using strategic filler placement, with the option to focus on PDO threads for enhanced lift and support.
Participants will develop a systematic approach to:
- Assessing facial proportions and structural deficiencies
- Creating balance across the midface, jawline, chin, and tear troughs
- Integrating volume, contour, and lift for cohesive, natural outcomes
- Designing treatment plans that prioritize facial harmony over overcorrection
The workshop features rotating clinical stations, including:
- Facial sculpting with dermal fillers (midface, jawline, chin, tear trough)
- Advanced contouring and structural support techniques
- A dedicated PDO thread station for participants interested in learning lifting and biostimulatory approaches
This course is ideal for providers looking to transition from single-area treatments to full-face aesthetic design, delivering results that are balanced, refined, and anatomically driven.
Advanced Lip & Perioral Combination Treatment
(Filler + Neurotoxin | Individual Patient Hands-On)
1:30 PM - 5:30 PM | Workshop
Faculty: TBA
This advanced workshop is designed for providers seeking to master comprehensive lip and perioral rejuvenation through combination therapy, integrating dermal fillers and neurotoxins for refined, natural-looking results.
Moving beyond traditional lip augmentation, this course focuses on full perioral design, teaching participants how to assess and treat the lips in harmony with surrounding structures to restore balance, support, and youthful expression.
Participants will learn how to:
- Analyze lip shape, proportion, and perioral dynamics
- Customize treatment plans using filler and neurotoxin synergy
- Address volume loss, muscle activity, and fine lines simultaneously
- Enhance lip definition while maintaining natural movement and expression
Each participant will work on their own patient, allowing for an immersive, hands-on experience with real-time guidance and technique refinement.
This course emphasizes precision, restraint, and artistry, making it ideal for injectors ready to elevate from basic lip treatments to high-level perioral rejuvenation and detail work.
NEW! TMD Therapeutics Intensive:
PBM, Neuromodulators, PRF & Cadaver-Guided TMJ Anatomy
1:30 PM - 5:30 PM | Workshop
Faculty: Dr. Terry Alford, DMD
This 4-hour, small-group workshop combines didactic instruction with live patient diagnosis and case demonstrations to help clinicians confidently assess and manage TMD and orofacial pain. Participants will learn practical photobiomodulation (PBM) protocols and therapeutic decision-making, then deepen anatomical understanding through a cadaver-guided TMJ anatomy demonstration to strengthen landmarking and safety. In an intimate, highly interactive format, attendees will work in pairs and small teams to optimize hands-on learning and clinical application. Treatment modalities include neuromodulators (Botox®) for TMJ/bruxism patterns, trigger point injections, and PRF fundamentals/workflow for supportive management of TMJ pain.

Day 2 Workshops
Cadaver Dissection for Facial Injectables + Ultrasound
1:30 PM - 5:30 PM | Workshop
Faculty: Dr. Terry Alford
Ultrasound Instructor: Alfredo Ferreyra, RDMS
Anatomical knowledge is fundamental to becoming a highly skilled, safe injector. This Facial Injectables Cadaver Workshop provides the highest level of anatomical training to expand your repertoire of facial injectables. Working in small groups, participants will dissect cadaver faces to identify pertinent anatomy (muscular structures, fat pads, dermal depths) and learn correct injection techniques to avoid complications and adverse effects. This hands-on workshop, exclusively at the IAFA Aesthetic Symposium, will give participants a high-level understanding of the essential anatomy of the face as it pertains to facial injectables.
Multi-Level Neurotoxins
1:30 PM - 5:30 PM | Workshop
Faculty: TBA
This hands-on workshop is dedicated entirely to the various uses of Neurotoxins, focusing not only on popular facial areas but also delving into the lower ⅔ of the face and emerging uses. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned injector, this workshop can be customized clinically to enhance your current experience with neuromodulators, such as Dysport, Botox, Xeomin and Jeauveu. Inexperienced practitioners will gain clinical experience with highly sought-out upper face areas while experienced injectable practitioners will be able to further enrich their existing knowledge with novel uses and techniques.
PLLA (Sculptra) Mastery: Biostimulatory Techniques in Facial Aesthetics*
1:30 PM - 5:30 PM | Workshop
Faculty: TBA
* Must have previous training and experience with dermal fillers
Poly-L-Lactic (PLLA) is in high-demand and once again a “must have” treatment in every provider’s aesthetic tool box. Ideal for whole face volume loss, PLLA such as Sculptra has a liquid consistency and, differing from gel-like dermal fillers, works deep within the skin to stimulate the body’s natural production of collagen. Collagen is a fibrous protein in the deep dermis that gives skin structure and supports the functions of elastin and Hyaluronic acid (HA), which helps maintain the skin’s shape while keeping it smooth and hydrated. Expand your injectable skills and learn how this unique product can take your aesthetic results and practice to the next level.
Regenerative Aesthetics: PRP/PRF, biofillers & PDGF applications
1:30 PM - 5:30 PM | Workshop
Faculty: TBA
As patient demand for natural, minimally invasive results continues to grow, regenerative aesthetics has become a cornerstone of modern aesthetic practice. This hands-on clinical workshop explores the expanding role of biologic therapies in aesthetic treatments, equipping providers with practical, in-demand techniques that can be integrated into everyday practice.
This immersive training will feature a range of regenerative approaches, allowing participants to gain experience with key modalities and delivery methods used to improve skin quality, restore volume, and enhance overall facial rejuvenation.
Designed for all skill levels, this workshop includes:
- PRP/PRF applications using injection and/or microneedling techniques for skin rejuvenation and hair restoration
- PDGF+ and exosome delivery through microneedling to support collagen stimulation and tissue regeneration
- Biofiller (PRF gel) techniques utilizing cannula-based approaches for natural volume restoration
Energy-based device integration, including radiofrequency microneedling (RFMN), combined with regenerative treatments for enhanced outcomes
Microcannulas for Dermal Filler Injections*
1:30 PM - 5:30 PM | Workshop
Faculty: TBA
Microcannulas are considered a superior method to effectively deliver dermal fillers to your patients. Safer than needles, blunt-tipped cannulas only use a single entry point and glide smoothly under the skin without cutting nerves and vessels. Resulting in greater patient satisfaction, microcannulas deliver dermal fillers with virtually no bruising, diminished swelling, considerably reduced pain, and less risks of more serious complications (necrosis / blindness / vascular issues). In addition, the blunt-tip cannulas may also stimulate collagen production because of the nature of the technique used. This advanced, hands-on workshop will teach you how to properly evaluate patients, diagnose and treatment plan for microcannula enhancements.
